What is e-CPS?

The e-CPS is a new and reliable means of ID authentication in the form of a smartphone app. It enables health professionals to log on directly to their web services via a mobile device.

e-CPS guarantees a strong authentication and mobility, with security levels equal to a physical card.

As an industrial, conforming to the Pro Santé Connect regulatory standards under which the CPS card functions will give your digital solution an image of trust and legitimacy.

The e-CPS is a secured means of ID authentication in the form of a smartphone app. With a level of security equivalent to the physical CPS card, the e-CPS enables health and social care professionals to identify themselves directly on an online service with their mobile or tablet without the need to use a card reader.

The e-CPS is one of the ID authentication tools that online services can offer by connecting to Pro Santé Connect.

How to activate your e-CPS?

Activate your e-CPS in 3 steps

Step 1: Download the e-CPS app (LINK: Google Play; AppStore)

The national ID is:

  • One the first line of your CPx-type card
  • Add “8” before your RPPS ID, for example 81234567890
  • Add “0” before your ADELI ID, for example 01234567890

The CPS card and e-CPS are two complementary means of authentication. A person may use both at the same time, or one or the other according to their preference.

No, a person may only have one e-CPS card at a time.
